1956 Chevy 210 Handyman Wagon Excellent
This is a California beauty! It’s a 1956 Chevy 210 Handyman station wagon. Completely restored some years ago. These two door station wagons were and are still very rare. They were called the Handyman. Less than 20,000 were made. This one has a blueprinted 350 Chevy motor bored out to a 383 cu in Stroker, mild cam, Edelbrock carburetor with a 350 turbo auto transmission. Beefed up re-built rear end dual turbo exhaust and disc front brakes. It has an early vintage, operational Allegro air conditioning, ice cold. Like new radiator with extra cool electric fan, never overheats. All of the chrome is in excellent condition. Beautiful older two tone paint – metallic light blue teal with pearl white. New legend wheels with BF Goodrich radial T/A tires with white lettering facing inside. The car is professionally lowered 1 ½†in the front and 2†in the rear. The interior is clean and sharp, white Naugahyde with black cloth inserts, white headliner, like new black carpet throughout. All of the glass is intact, no cracks. There is a spare tire with jack under the back compartment. This is truly a California car, bought new in Sacramento and spent its entire life there. I have the California registration clear back to 1995. This car runs beautifully with about 50k miles on the blueprinted 383 Stroker motor. Never raced, always maintained and garaged. No leaks, no smoke, no rust, no damage. It belonged to a physician’s assistant in Sacramento that drove it back and forth to the hospital daily. The car runs straight and true down the highway at 70 mph and is a pleasure to drive. It is ready for a cross country trip today. New rubber weather seals throughout. This is not a Concourse show car, it has a few minor flaws and chips here and there which are hardly noticeable. This is a proud daily driver ready for any local car show and for you to enjoy. Get ready for people to stop you where ever you go! Please look at all of the photos and ask any questions before bidding. 360-670-5496 PST In a couple of photos of the front seat interior passenger side there looks like stains on the black cloth seat and door panel, there is no damage or stains, this is a reflection through the windshield.
