The restoration began with a very solid truck with a good straight body and chassis. A Camaro sub-frame was added up front with power steering and power disc brakes. This not only helps with the drivability of the truck but also gives it a much smoother ride on the road. The powerplant comes from a crate GM 350 engine topped with a polished aluminum intake. Edelbrock carb. HEI distributor. and chrome pulleys. The transmission is a Borg-Warner T-5 5 speed manual with a hydraulic clutch and the rear axle is a chevy 10 bolt with 3. 23 gears. As stated before the body is straight and true and is covered in metallic silver paint that has a bright shine to it. All chrome has been replaced with new along with all glass and weather stripping. The interior of the truck has been finished in a sift black vinyl with new carpet and headliner. The dash was restored with new Dolphin gauges. custom leather wrapped steering wheel. and all new chrome hardware. The truck also features electric wipers and vintage air conditioning. This 3100 chevy sits on a new set of 18" Boss chrome wheels and tires. This is a great driving truck that is dependable and road ready. everything is in working order and it is ready to ride.
