Car description |
---|
Only 1,360 miles since body off frame restoration. This car is loaded with a lot of performance upgrades. California built car.
EXTERIOR: We have photos showing the car taken down to a shell. All metal body. Painted Lemans blue and has glossy clear coat finish. Correctly painted on black stripe, it's smooth to the touch. Door jambs are painted slick, new weatherstrips. Grill, bumpers, emblems, hood grills, tail lights, gas cap were replaced. Has the optional trim on top of the doors. Vinyl top is excellent. Has rear spoiler. I love the modern spin on the SS wheels. They are 17 inch billet, a little wider in back. Has performance Nitto tires.
INTERIOR: Completely restored. I think every part in here is new. It features the factory gauges in the console and tachometer in the dash with the clock in the middle. New knobs, vents, trim heater controls etc. Retro stereo fits in the factory hole. Nice cushion grip wheel on a tilt column. New cushions in the seats for a nice firm feel. New upholstery, door panels, armrests, window cranks, handles, carpet, console. New visors and a tight fitting headliner.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: All sorts of good stuff under the hood. Great running 383 stroker motor putting out over 400 horsepower. High FI-tech fuel injection system. Has aluminum heads, roller rockers. MSD ignition system with really fat plug wires. Has Hedman coated headers. Some sharp looking finned aluminum valve covers. The whole front of the engine is billet aluminum. March brackets and pulleys. Aluminum alternator and a/c compressor. New heat and air system. Aluminum radiator with twin electric fans keeps the engine running cool. Modern power steering system, upgraded CPP steering box. New power brake system with a cadmium plated booster. Bottom of the hood and the jamb are painted gloss blue. The inner fenders, core support and firewall are clean satin black.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Wow, I open the trunk and I'm surprised to see there's a matching tire and wheel for a spare. It's a brand new brand new Nitto tire on a billet SS rim. Also has a new rubber mat. Trunk floor looks like super clean original metal, has two full quarter panels. Paint on the bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick, weatherstrip is new.
UNDERSIDE: Starting up front- completely new steering and suspension. Upgraded coil over adjustable gas shocks, tubular control arms and faster swaybar. Bottom of the motor is spotless Chevy orange, new high torque starter. Heavy duty bell housing. Upgraded to a Tremec 5-speed trans, new clutch, shift linkage etc. New driveshaft and u-joints. 12 bolt posi rear. New rear suspension. Upgraded Caltracs springs, new QA-1 adjustable gas shocks and tubular control arms. All new brake system with disc brakes at all four wheels. Custom fuel system, braided fuel lines. Custom fat Flowmaster exhaust system with transverse muffler. Very cool electric dumps. So cool, with the flip of a switch it's like open headers. The floors are so clean they painted them body color and cleared them. The entire underside of this car is show quality.
This Camaro checks a lot of boxes. It's ready to rock n roll with that stroker motor, manual shift, performance suspension and brakes and electric dumps. Feel like chillin? The fuel injection will fire it right up, 5th gear cruises effortlessly down the hwy, a/c keeps you cool. You will look good doing it too!
