Car description |
---|
1931 Chevy Coupe. It is currently registered and insured as a 31 Chevrolet. Has the original style frame.
Has 4 link rear suspension with a 8" Ford rear with drum brakes and posi. Coilover shocks hold up the rear suspension.
It has power brakes with disc brakes in the front with Wilwood calipers.
The motor is a 383 SBC the AFR heads and a blower shop blower 6/71. Motor has maybe 2k miles on it. Carbs are holley brand and are set up for a supercharger application. Makes about 600 HP with a pulley swap, but set up with low boost for cruising. It has a electric fan for cooling with a replacement style radiator.
Trans is a Th400 with a shift kit and a B&M high stall converter.
It has Chrome headers and chrome side pipes with a internal baffle inside. Paint is Yellow with purple flames.
It has a roll bar with 2 bucket seats with 5 point harnesses. B&M quick silver shifter. The interior is covered in sound deadening, but has not been finished. We had not decided on a interior color so it has nothing inside.
All 3 windows are power and there is a radio with speakers. Custom fuel cell holds about 12 gallons.
It has Cragar wheels with Mickey Thompson tires. Rear tires are 15" wide. The paint is older and has a few chips and flaws here and there. Super reliable. Battery is mounted under the floor. Car starts right up after sitting for weeks.
It has a full compliment of gauges including a tach and boost gauge.
Car is driven weekly to cruise nights and to work. Would make someone a great cruise night car, its not too loud and it has a nice blower whine to it. Only need the interior paneling done after a color is decided on. We have too many other projects so this one has to go.
Clear title in my hand. Any other pictures needed just let me know. Brian
