1970 Chevrolet Corvette. READ DESCRIPTION

It is not a restored Corvette, but it is not an unrestored Corvette either.

I am selling my 1970 Corvette. I love the car, but have to look for something else so the kiddo's can ride along. It is so much fun to drive and is never short of turning heads. It is a 350, 4-Speed and still pretty much bone stock. She runs and drives good for a 1970. It is a Non-matching number engine with unknown miles. Just had the heads off and inspected and the valve stem seals all replaced. It has a Muncie 4-Speed Transmission. I replaced the fuel tank, cap, sending unit and fuel pump and had a carb kit installed last year. Also replaced the steering coupler (Rag Joint) and all of the exterior and interior bulbs and headlights. I also had a new master cylinder installed with new brake pads and front hoses. They also replaced the RH rear caliper and rebuilt the others. It is a recent repaint and the paint shines real nice and looks great, but there are some small flaws and blems and some small paint cracks around the passenger door lock (see pic) that happened when I had all the locks replaced. I believe the intake manifold, carb and exhaust manifolds are original to the car. It still has a 1970 4bbl Quadrajet carb. It has a Competition Plus Hurst shifter set up (prior owner installed) and I had all of the U-joints replaced including the half shaft u-joints this past spring along with a new transmission mount. I replaced the carpet front and rear, convertible top (also a new top in box comes with ..see explanation below), top pads and Convertible weatherstrip kit. I also replaced for the most part the entire center console section with new items. Which included new console, parking brake cover and new front center dash plate. I replaced the center gauges with new units (except clock-still works) and installed a new tachometer. New vent balls, new heater blower switch, windshield wiper switch and knob, upper and lower shifter boots and shifter knob. Replaced the door sill plate drivers side, window crank handles, wiper and vent knobs, ash tray and lighter, 4 speed decal, door lock knobs and horn button. Then in September I had the bucket seats all reupholstered and converted my distributor to HEI unit w/ Tach drive with new plug wires. I also got two brand new tires in September for the front of the car and replaced the nose emblem.

It still needs a few things mostly little stuff like: Rear bumpers are fading some, top of fender trim pieces are missing, compartment doors behind seats need replaced. Battery door cover is missing. I have carpet for the doors. Rear plastic interior trim is missing. Driver door panel armrest is peeling (see pic). Driver's side seat back upholstery was punctured by a key on a key ring on a belt loop (see pic) by someone not claiming responsibility. Wipers work, but the wiper panel cover needs to be opened manually, RH headlamp needs a new actuator as the headlamp assembly needs to be lifted up manually, but it does go down by vacuum. Also needs door weather stripping seals and the sail panel weatherstrips replaced. Like I mentioned earlier it is not completely restored but it well on it's way.
Just had a brand new Custom Autosound USA 740 w/Bluetooth etc system installed with new front speakers.

There is no warranty whatsoever and can not guarantee anything. The car is 50 model years old. Other then what I posted above the car has mostly been untouched and never torn apart. Old cars will require continuing maintenance. Please send questions if you have any before bidding. Opinions matter and mine may differ from yours in regards to the Corvette. So ask questions and I will do my best to answer them. Use ebay email for questions can't do the phone calls due to work and time. I have tried to be straightforward and honest with what I know. The car is a very nice driver, but not a fully restored show car. You can drive and enjoy this one.

ORIGINAL MONZA RED EXTERIOR 974 WHITE CONVERTIBLE TOP AND BLACK INTERIOR 400 MANUFACTURED MAY 1970 WITH 15X8 CORVETTE RALLY WHEELS.CLEAN AND CLEAR INDIANA TITLE
****Comes with a New convertible top in box. The top that was installed last summer had the seam and front cover strips reversed. The strip that covers the rear seam along that runs along above the rear window is suppose to run along the windshield and the strip that runs along the windshield is suppose to cover the seam in the back. The top functions properly, but for those who want it corrected that is why I am including a new top.
Also 1 pint of the Monza Red Basecoat from the repaint is included.
