Hi I have a very clean 1979 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Landau Coupe.I got the car from a neighbor who died. It has original paint but it was spot primed because he wanted to two tone it. The tan velvet type interior is very good. Power seat, reclining passenger seat, power windows, locks, tilt, rear defogger, power trunk lock and cruise. The dash is not cracked. Runs good but has been off the road for about 20 years, I was told it has a new cam, lifters and timing chain on the Original 350 engine. The tires are very very old and you can not drive on them! Can drive on a trailer. The speedo says 69000 miles, I was told that is the original miles. It has had only 2 other owners. The car needs to be serviced and a little detail under the hood(inner fenders are rust free and nice). It is a nice car and Never had any rot! The car was undercoated when new. Trunk and floors are NICE! Body is very straight and was ready to be painted about 10 years ago. NOT A FIELD CAR was garaged most of it's life. It comes with nos wheel moldings. The bumpers are very nice. The brakes are a little soft but stop. The rear plastic pieces on top of the rear bumper are cracked. The headliner is coming. It is the same as a Impala. I know it is not a 1970 Malibu convertibl, 1977 firebird, 1967 Nova or 1971 Camaro but it is a good GM and at a reasonable price.
