Car description

When you think about the perfect classic car, what usually comes to mind is the one that steals the show with a terrific appearance, and then steals your heart on the drive home with its all-out power. That's what gets us excited about this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle. The custom two-tone paint, comfy restomod interior, and thumpin' performance-built 396 V8 under the hood make this a terrific total package classic. Let's start with the paint that's instantly grabbing your... attention. From a distance it might just look like a bold take on Chevy's iconic Hugger Orange, but then as it draws you in, you see something truly unique. This is a daring custom two-tone orange where the two hues dance in-between each other all down the side of the car for an outstanding custom flame appearance. The detail on this is simply amazing, right down to how the door jambs follow the pattern, and the hint of maroon pinstripe that gives more definition to the two-color dividing line. And it has all been buffed recently to a butter-smooth touch. But the investment in this coupe goes much deeper than the paint. The super-straight sheetmetal, mirror-like chrome, and power bulge cowl hood make it a cut-above muscle car. And there are great modern additions, like LED headlights with haloes to give this mean machine a steely gaze. Plus, there are new 20-inch Ridler alloys that go perfectly with thin shining package. While there was a lot invested in making the exterior look fantastic, there was definitely money left in the budget for the interior, too. The modern ProCar bucket seats have a lot more bolstering than anything that came out of the 1960s. In-between is a custom orange and black center console that houses comfortable features like the cup holders and power windows. It flows right into the Kenwood AM/FM/CD/XM receiver that connects to the subwoofers in the custom trunk enclosure. There's a new Ididit polished tilt steering column, and there are even provisions for air conditioning. But as much as these are features for enjoying this coupe and looking good while doing it, this Chevelle was definitely built to go fast. You can tell this when you slip into the driver's seat and grab the ratchet shifter with your right hand and the three-spoke sports steering wheel with your left. Beyond that a full set of custom AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges keeps you clued in on everything going on under the hood. The engine bay has smooth black inner fender walls that seem to just funnel your attention to the monster in the middle. The 396 cubic-inch V8 is ready for show duty wearing its exterior-matching orange valve covers. Plus, there's a ton of shine coming from all the polished components, like the alternator, brake booster, air topper, radiator shroud, and coolant pipe. So everything looks ready for you to simply pop the hood and wait for the crowd to gather. And beneath this style is some serious performance substance. The big block has been upgraded with aluminum heads, a large Edelbrock 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and a performance cam. And the new headers add even more power while feeding the wicked-sounding dual exhaust. More than just brute force, the V8 is backed up by reliable components like the new Concept One serpentine belt system, MSD ignition, and aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. It's a ton of power, and so they made sure you have the right pieces to get it to the ground. That means a new 4L80E four-speed overdrive transmission built to handle 800 hp. Plus, there are sway bars (front & rear), traction bars, a 12-bolt Positraction rear end, and a new aluminum heavy duty driveshaft. Combine this with power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and new Nitto performance tires at all four corners, and you can see this slick Chevelle is also a fine handling classic, too. There has been about $20k recently invested in this custom classic (and we have the build receipts and maintenance records to prove it.) And that's not to mention the huge $$$$ it took to create something this outstanding. It all adds up to deliver a one-of-a-kind muscle car experience. Call today!!!
