This 1978 Chevrolet Corvette is one of 6,502 in the 25th anniversary Indy Pace Car edition and is finished in black and silver over a silver cloth and vinyl interior. Power comes from a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and additional factory equipment includes mirrored glass T-top panels, slotted aluminum wheels, air conditioning, and power locks and windows.
All Pace Car Edition Corvettes were finished in black over silver and featured red pinstripes as well as front and rear spoilers. This example wears Indy 500 decals and removable mirrored glass T-top roof panels.
Factory 15″ slotted aluminum wheels wear matching red stripes and are mounted with Goodyear GT Radial tires. The seller states that the brake fluid was replaced in summer 2019.
The interior is trimmed in silver cloth and vinyl and features air conditioning and a Delco AM/FM stereo with a cassette deck as well as power locks and windows. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 14k miles.
