Car description |
---|
1959 Chevy Impala 4-door, V8 automatic power glide. Rear end is limited slip (not a Posi). Car rolls really easy. Absolutely no brakes.
Car is not running. Motor does turn. Car came from Georgia originally and has been in New England since the late 80s.
No title. Car will be sold with NH registration and bill of sale.
Car needs total restoration. Has all glass except for passenger side window. Windshield has some bubbles. Driver's side rear glass has a crack.
Most body panels are in pretty good shape (doors, fenders, hood). Rot hole on passenger rear floor. All other floors look pretty good - some minor rot but nothing bad. Frame has no rot. Still has some clay on it.
Driver's door needs to be aligned. Opens and shuts hard.
Driver's side fender chrome is inside car, along with stock AM radio with knobs and chrome bezel to go around radio.
Rockers look pretty good. Trunk edge where weather stripping is is rotted, as shown in pics - more on driver's side rim. Trunk lid has some rot on bottom.
Interior has no headliner. Front and back seats need to be reupholstered. Door panels kind of ratty. Dash is really nice. Steering wheel is nice. Car has manual steering and manual brakes.
Car has nice patina. I think the car is restorable.
Car is for sale locally - I reserve the right to end auction at any time.
Any questions, call Paul 603-772-6353.
