This is a 1971 Chevrolet C-20 long bed truck, with the original factory 402 big block engine, I consider this truck to be in relatively good condition for being almost 50 years old, the paint is all original, along with the cab, both fenders, doors, and the bed. The truck has some small dents here and there, and I will try to photograph them all! The cab corners are still wearing original paint and look to be in good shape with no rust, the rocker panels however, do have some rust, the passenger side being the worst, and I don't know why it is bad there, as the fenders and cab corners still look great. I will photograph both rockers and cab corners inside and out. The rain diverter around the top of the cab is in good condition all the way around, only surface rust, the factory caulking is cracking. The front fenders look really straight and rust free. The inner fender wells are in great shape with no rust or damage. The interior of the truck is in good condition except for the TOTALLY sun-baked dash pad, and the seat. I will try to pull back the rubber floor mat and photograph the floor panels, from what I can see they are nice! This truck has original factory disc brakes in front and the RPO sticker inside the glove-box still looks like it did in 1971 (see photo)! This truck starts, runs, and drives great! The engine sounds great. It is mated to the original Turbo 400 transmission, which shifts smoothly, but the rear seal has a slow leak. The bed of the truck has surface rust, as the paint is gone from dumping soil, and the tailgate has dents. I will document in photos. The tires on this truck are in great condition with 90% tread still left, see photos of each tire. The three things I can see that are not original are the steering wheel, the valve covers, and the hydraulic dump, which works perfectly and sounds like new! The glass on this truck is great, and the windshield is brand new! this truck has a 12 bolt rear end with 4/10 gear ratio. Please ask any questions or for any more photos, nothing to hide! Trying to show good points AND bad points. If you are in the Denver area please feel free to come look at, and drive this truck! This is a RARE big block truck, priced to sell! The price of the dump hydraulics kit is $2600 alone! Come drive it! Check shipping prices from here to you, buyer responsible for shipping costs. Best luck bidding!
