I purchased this ZR1 new fully optioned including the 2nd optional glass roof panel on October 5, 1990 from Barlow Chevrolet in New Jersey. The original window sticker from Chevrolet (pictured below) is included along with manuals and roof ratchet tool. Black with a black leather interior to match, this ZR1 stands out and always attracts attention as does the motor which looks like a piece of automotive art. The original Goodyear tires and Delco battery have been replaced about 500 miles ago. Stainless works exhaust from the cat back was installed this year and I do have the original exhaust available here. At the time the ZR1's were being planned General Motors had purchased Lotus and so had Lotus engineering design the LT5 Aluminum, 32 valve, 4 Cam Motor which developed 375 Horsepower for the ZR1 Corvette. The motor was assembled by Mercury Marine then shipped to the Corvette assembly plant where it was mated to the ZF 6 speed manual transmission. There is Selective Ride Control with 3 different settings in the center console. The MSRP for this car was $65,583.00 which you can see in the window sticker pictured below. The ZR1 held the 24 hour endurance world record with an average speed of 175 mph. 8800 miles This ZR1 drives exceptionally well with smooth shifts and fantastic acceleration. The car has never been in any accidents including no scrapes on the factory aluminum wheels. There is a paint flaw pictured on the right rear quarter panel about 1 1/2 inch wide x 12 inches long. 1000.00 deposit upon purchase within 48 hours. Cashier's check or cash for balance.
