Car description |

1953 Chevy 3100 (PROJECT) Panel Truck (NEEDS WORK - SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED) w/ Tilt Steering Column, mid 1970's Camaro Front Steer, Power Disc Brake Sub-Frame and 8-1/2-inch GM 10 bolt Rear. Included with the sale is a complete (w/ alternator, air conditioner compressor, power steering pump, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, carburetor, distributor, oil cooler, driveshaft.) good running, ready to drop in low miles 350 Cubic Inch 4 bolt Main Chevy Small Block Engine with a 700R4 Transmission. The donor Engine and Trans where in perfectly good running and operating condition (September 2018) when they were both taken out of a 1986 Chevy (Police Package) PC1 Caprice.
The sheet metal on the truck is straight with no collision damage or major dents but in need of lower quarter panel and front floor rust repair. (Patch panels and parts are available from LMC Trucks.) The wood deck, frame and undercarriage are all in very good condition. The truck has a solid base and a good head start to finish assembling and to build on. I've accumulated most of the parts (bumpers, gauges, seats, moldings, window cranks, door handles, etc.) to complete the project. All the parts I have are included with the sale. My focus has recently changed towards another project vehicle I recently purchased. I need to prioritize and realistically I won't find time to get around to finishing my Panel Truck anytime soon. So, I’m offering it for sale as is to anyone who has the aptitude to finish and recognize this trucks potential.
