Classic 1979 Chevy Silverado Pick-up Truck 4x4
Do you remember pushing around or even sitting on your favorite Tonka truck and thinking... boy I wish this thing was real? Fast forward a few decades and have your wish come true! Check out this rugged beauty from 1979. It has a sweet sounding 383 motor, with exhaust headers, and Edelbrock carburation. It features a durable SM465 Muncie 4 speed manual transmission, and all 4x4 options are working great. This head turning attention grabber has been lifted quite nicely so you can enjoy easily seeing over trafficon the road or having a blast at you favorite mud hole or rocky mountain trail. Pictures are going to do a lot of the talking for this listing. The body is in near flawless shape with its classic straight lines. This truck is solid and has probably been in the west's rust free zone most of its life judging by it's structural condition. No visible leaks from the motor, transfer case or differentials, only a slow drip at the transmission which will require a seal or gasket eventually. The truck starts right up and isn't blowing any smoke either...just purring like a kitten. You will need new tires. These are pretty old and although they don't leak, they are out of round from sitting giving it a bit of a bouncy ride at lower speeds. All your major parts work but a few things are going to require you put your own touch into some finishing details. they are as follows: There is one windshield wiper arm, the fan speed select lever is gone and the fan is running at a low/medium speed. The reverse lights are not coming on although headlights, parking, tail, and turn signals all do come on. One headlight is dim so it needs replacement. The roll bar lights are not wired and the dash lights are not coming on. However, there are after market cab lights that do work inside. The doors close tight with a good pul. Also, worth mentioning is what the odometer shows is not actual. The title is clean and not salvaged.

- All in all this truck is a great running stout truck with a bad a** lift. All your major core parts are working great, but you could take it the rest of the way with the little things. The truck is being priced appropriately for its condition and only reasonable offers will be considered and responded to.This truck has very nice paint besides a small ding on the front passenger side where the future bumper will go. Truck does not have front or rear pumpers. Overall body is in excellent shape for its age. The truck has a chevy small block 383 and has been converted from automatic to standard 4 speed. The engine runs strong with headers and sounds great not too loud and not too quiet has a perfect sound in my opinion. The clutch and shifter work great and brakes have recently been bled with new fluid. The interior has custom fabric and is still in descent condition. This truck gets sooooo much attention its crazy, people love it. If you want a great condition classic truck with minimum work, this is the truck for you. The winning bidder will be responsible for pick up and transportation. I would not recommend driving the truck long distances because of the tire situation, would recommend trailering or trucking company transport. Truck has a clean title ready to go. There will be a 1000 deposit due at auction end, good luck! Thanks for checking it out.
