Car description |
---|
This very unique 1994 Z71 Chevy Silverado stepside truck has only 65,833 original miles on it; and has been garage kept since it was new.
Because it has also been pampered, the Silverado is as close to new-looking as you would ever hope to find.
The original Dark Autumnwood Metallic paint is free from scratches & “dings”; and it still has an amazing shine. The chrome bumpers, grille & body trim are in excellent condition as well.
The tan cloth interior is clean & super nice. While the fresh looking original GM floor mats have done their job to protect the carpet’s pristine appearance.
The Chevy has only been used for light hauling and the original thick rubber pad has done well to keep the bed’s floor from damage. However, because loads tend to shift during stopping & turning, there are some light scratches inside the bed on some of the vertical surfaces (see photo).
With the exception of a mellow sounding Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system, the truck is unmolested & remains factory stock. It is also totally free from rust damage.
Being senior citizen owned, the truck has never been off a paved road in its life. But it’s important to note that it does have the Z71 off-road option. GM advertised this option as follows:
· Special Z71 Off-Road suspension
· 46mm twin-tube high-pressure gas-charged shocks
· Skid Plate Package with a frame-mounted shield
· GM segment-exclusive automatic locking rear differential
Other factory options include:
· Power Steering
· Power Brakes
· Power Windows
· Power Locks
· Tilt Steering
· Cruise Control
· Air Conditioning
· AM/FM Stereo Radio with clock
All of these options function properly; and the A/C system delivers crisp cold air.
The Silverado runs flawlessly & is very dependable. It’s equipped with a 350 V-8 engine, 4l60E automatic transmission, floor shifted four-wheel drive, plus low mileage Michelin tires.
One of the best features of the truck is that it was manufactured one year prior to mandatory airbags. So it has a beautiful standard steering wheel; rather than a prominent airbag wheel.
Because it has been so well preserved, this cool old classic always gets “thumbs-up” compliments where ever it’s driven.
So, if you’ve been looking for an old body style Chevy truck that you’d be proud to own. Then suffice it to say…there will be no disappointments with this truck!
