AS IS. NO WARRANTY. PROJECT. GMC. 302. CUBIC INCH. Buyer should be prepared to check every weld, every nut and bolt. EVERYTHING to make sure this is road worthy. I am 70+ years old and prone to forget things. One 1946 Chevy pickup truck powered by a 50’s GMC 302 cubic inch in line 6 cylinder motor with a 5 speed manual s10 transmission. The truck is out of South Dakota. Darn near rust free. Rust Repaired to left driver floor area. Rust Repaired where the running boards bolt to the rear fenders. RAT ROD. Style. Lots of weld Repairs done to cracks in the big bouncy fenders Mounted on a 92 dodge dakota frame with rack and pinion power steering. Disc brakes front, drum rear. 66 Olds Toronado tilt telescopic steering. The engine was totally rebuilt with new or reconditioned everything. Cost $ 6000. Full flow oil system with filter. NEEDS DRIVE SHAFT professionally welded and balanced. I shortened the original one just to test drive it. I have driven it down the road at 50 MPH and it feels good. Not recommended....Gas tank repaired, not leaking but I did not want it in the cab. Needs a tank under the bed. Lots of room. All lights and the horn work. All windows work including front crank out. Cowl vent works. Plywood bed floor. Tail gate beat up but works. Heater works. 3 speeds. Emergency brake cables are free, needs the in cab mechanism. Frame was shortened and altered to allow oil pan clearance. Looks solid but ugly welds. Mileage is unknown. Runs at 185 degrees with 50 pounds + oil pressure. Clear Indiana title in my name. Very little $$$ required to complete this, just labor. I got, old, tired. Wife got sick. The truck and I have a lot in common. PATINA. lol. 574-329-1560
