Car description |
---|
Farm truck from southeast Nebraska was owned by the original owner where it was used sparingly and always stored in the machine shed. The truck was sold on an estate sale in 2008to a gentlemen in Lincoln NE and was put away in a storage garage on one of his properties and is where it was sitting when I bought it. I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle.
This is a Survivor, Mostly original paint, original interior, 57k actual miles, no panel rust, numbers matching 307with 4 speed, runs and drives excellent. Miles are actual and accurate stated by the original owner when sold in 2008,service dates and mileage written on the A-Pillarand coincides with service receipt from mid 90's. One look at condition and there is no question on mileage.
Brand new tires, refurbished factory correct 16.5 steel wheels sand blasted and powder coated, new belt molding trim with correct clips and rear bumper with brackets. All maintenance completed including Fuel system flushed, carburetor rebuild, spark plugs, oil change, coolant flush, front suspension serviced and brakes serviced.Everything on the vehicle works including all gauges and electrical. Turn key ready anddrive anywhere. Truck is tight going down the road and holds straight as an arrow. Does not have power steering or power brakes but stops as it should and all functions properly. If you've been looking for an original C10 of this era in this condition, you will look long and hard for another. The truck had stock racks for the back and these will come with the sale along with the original split rims and tires. Hub caps are original to the truck.(see picture with stock rack)
From the belt molding up, the truck is 100% original condition/paint/interiorcompletely untouched. Original wood bed is in great condition. Bottom white had been repainted by second owner and was done right and well. The paint from thecab forward is exceptional but the box does show some wear from use on the farm but has a nice patina. I have included close up pictures of the box to show this. There are some small dingshere and there as can be expected on a 50 year old truck. One dent on theright box side, forward of the wheel wellI absolutely would not restore the paint on this truck because they're so hard to find in this condition. It is nearly rust free but I can't consider it 100% rust freebecause the back left cab support is starting to go but would be an easy fix. Close up picture included. The rest of the truck is perfect as far as no rust. (This is something that can be negotiated in to be fixedon top of an agreed upon price, done professionally.)
The interior is completely untouched from the original steering wheel, dash pad, door cards, seat and even the floor mat. The black on the burgundy is absolutely beautiful. Additional photos available upon request.
I drive the truck on occasion so mileage can change slightly. Vehicle is listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if sold. No warranty and I am a private collector not a dealer so no trades. Payment by cash in person or wire transfer only! Clear clean title in hand in my name. Shipping responsibility of buyer.
