I'm selling this for my Mom and her husband. He is about 65 Years old and bought this car about 25 years ago (1989). He said he was the second owner. It is believed to never been in an accident. It may have been repainted. but certainly it was before he bought it. as he has done nothing but maintain and drive it since he bought it. It runs and drives very good. and it literally is a daily driver. turnkey ready to go car. Tons of power. No mechanical issues that we know of or that are noticeable. It does have 80. 00 or so original miles. It had 68k miles on it when he bought it in 1989. It has the 327-350 horsepower engine. Numbers matching engine and transmission. 4 speed manual. It maintains it's original color. Original Interior in decent condition with 2 new door panels included that he never replaced. The originals are fine as you can see but he bought two new ones and never put them on. There is no power steering or brakes. although he did recently put new brakes on it. He does have the original AM radio and it did work when he replaced it. Since he bought it he also pulled the heads off to have hardened valve seats installed so it could burn unleaded. which it now does. The trim code is 414. the paint code is 976. The body overall is nice and has no rust. Do expect surface rust etc on the frame as it is a 1968. There are plenty of pictures showing underneath the car and there is nothing to hide here. All pictures show the soft top. but he DOES also have the hard top that goes with it. Overall it's an awesome chance to get a 68 Vette at a super low price with no dealer overhead (Selling this for him at NO cost so there's NO commission). Every dime you pay goes to my mom and him. It's also the very best of opportuntities to buy a car from someone who has owned it as long as he has with no BS stories you get everywhere else. The only reason they are selling is simply because he has 2 other Vetts's and never drives any of them and needs space in his shop. There is a low reserve that will NOT be disclosed to anyone during the auction. There is no doubt this car will sell this first time around. There are NO fees on top of the price of the vehicle. You pay sales tax in your state. This Nebraska title is CLEAR and CLEAN with no liens or stories. You will receive the title once the vehicle is paid for. In the meantime. you will also have 30 day in transit dealer tags to drive on to give you time to transfer it to your name. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. however. we are VERY accessible and will assist the transport in any way we can. The vehicle is sold as is and with no warranty. and with no reserve. I do have the right to end the auction early for any reason. $1000 Deposit (paypal is OK and we also take credit cards) due within 24 hours of auction close and FULL payment due within 3 days of auction close. Cash in person or certified bank check (I would need to verify your bank with a persons name and number to call so that I can be assured it is a legit cashiers check) is fine for the balance.
