Novas are known the world over as one of the baddest muscle cars of all time and the 1967 is at the top of the list for a lot of enthusiasts. This 67 Chevrolet Nova SS left the factory with the very rare L-79 option, as documented by the NCRS. The exterior is painted in 4 coats of Blue Flame Metallic paint with 6 coats of clear over that. It was all wet sanded and buffed to a show quality... shine and then the car was ceramic coated to protect it and lock it in. The rally wheels with radial tires look great and the chrome center caps and beauty rings pop nicely against the paint. Black halo headlights and LED taillights look great and provide much more light than the originals. Everything is new inside with black cloth replacing the factory vinyl. It looks great and doesn’t burn you on hot summer days or freeze you on colder days. Brushed aluminum Auto Meter gauges retain a classic look but add a little excitement to the dash. The engine is a rebuilt 350 with 2,200 miles since completed. It has an Offenhauser intake with three Rochester carburetors. The car runs great and that certainly adds some car show appeal when you raise the hood. The carburetors have been powder coated to match the engine block and have chrome stacks to really pop. The engine puts down around 435 horsepower and will get this Nova moving in a hurry! That power heads out to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission that was rebuilt at the same time the engine was done. 3.55 posi gears in the rear help this Nova get going off the line and are still highway friendly. Classic Performance Products tubular control arms and mini subframe make this car handle better than stock. Power Wilwood 4-piston brakes with adjustable proportioning valve allow this classic to stop on a dime. The car will come with the partial build sheet copy and a letter from the NCRS verifying it is a real L-79 Nova from the factory. Other neat features on this Nova include an electric fan, Champion aluminum radiator, GPS speedometer, AM/FM/Bluetooth radio with phone control and tinted windows.
