Car description

All original car. Possibly the most original 1955 2door hardtop V8 bel air on the planet. This car has been in my family for 40+ years. My great uncle bought it from its original owner in 1979. Its been kept indoors 100% of the time. No rust anywhere in this car. All original paint, interior, engine, driveline, glass, etc. Runs and drives good as it should. It starts with ease. It doesnt make any noises or leak anything. No smoke, no problems whatsoever. Below is a short list of the things that have been replaced, but near all original items have been kept.
BatteryPointsWaterpumpThermostatTires (current ones are sears All-state with a few decades of age on them at least)Upper radiator Hose
There are a few things not working such as the radio and one headlight bulb that is cracked but overall everything works nice. Doors shut like a new car. This is a museum car, and I dont own a museum so it needs a better home. If youre looking for a car to swap engines into or restore look elsewhere. I will not let this car go to a new owner that doesnt appreciate originality and its preservation.
My late great uncle had the car buffed in the 90s and they went too far and buffed through the paint in a few places which show the original red oxide primer from the doors back and the original black base chevrolet used when painting the front clips separately. The paint has flaws but shows very well. There are a few dings but no real damage. All windows roll down and up correctly. The trunk opens and closes as a new car. Original jack and tire/wheel in the trunk. Original gas tank and exhaust, the doughnut gasket is leaking a little but not terrible. Tail lights and turn signals all work, dome lights, dash lights, gauges, speedometer and odometer work, vacuum wipers work. The 2nd to last picture is of the bottom of the drivers door, and the last picture is under the drivers seat area of the floor/frame. More pictures available for serious buyers.
There is no warranty on this car. AS-IS where is. Buyer is responsible for pickup/delivery within 14 days of sale. Payment due within 3 days of purchase agreement or sale is void. A $1000 deposit is due within 24 hours of purchase or sale is void. Thanks for looking.
