Here is a nice little 1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup for your consideration. This is an original half ton 2wd short box truck. Not a cut down long box.
If someone chooses to buy the truck for the Buy It Now price, I will pay to have the pickup shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states.
This truck received a frame off nut and bolt restoration a little over 3 years ago. It has a little over 3,000 miles on it since completion. At the time of the build it had a 350 put in it. Last summer it got a brand new aluminum head 383. Its much more exciting to drive now. Last week I had $600 worth of all new exhaust installed with X pipe and flow masters. The truck was completely disassembled at the time of restoration, the frame was blasted and painted and built up from there. It has all new bushings, tie rods, ball joints, bushings throughout etc. The truck is lowered 4" in the front and 2" in the rear. It has a nice little hot rod stance to it but is not horribly un drivably low.The cab and box were in very good shape to start with. All of the old paint was completely stripped throughout everything. The underside of the cab is painted body color as well. The truck is extremely straight and well put together. The little rust it did have was properly fixed. The doors both had some rust, dents, and other damage. They were discarded and a virgin pair of doors off of a 1970 were used. Also the rear wheel tubs and front box panel are new. Besides that all of the sheetmetal is GM and original. The bed has all new wood and strips throughout. Pretty much every nut and bolt on the truck is either new or has been restored. The transmission is a th350 which was all built. The 383 has a lot of nice parts on it, aluminum heads with 202 / 160 stainless valves, comp cam and lifters, roller rockers, headers, 7 quart pan, Edelbrock victor jr. intake, New 1406 Edelbrock electric choke carb, new HEI, etc etc. I don't have a clue what the horsepower rating is but it'll burn the tires off if you want it too. There is a noticeable lump to the cam, it sounds great. 12 bolt rear axle, disks in the front, drums rear. All new exhaust, Pretty much the entire brake system is new. New shocks and all of those kind of things. It has a vintage Air system in it with AC. The kit is made specifically for this truck and is all bolt in. It works better than the Air conditioning in my house! The inner fenders and other parts are powder coated, all trim is new, it has a Goodmark Chrome steel grille shell, of course new windshield, all weatherstriping throughout is new, basically everything associated with a complete restoration was done and done rite. This truck is not a cobbled together mess. It was built properly and has had the bugs worked out over the last few years. Just hang your license plates on it and drive. Much better than spending the next 2 years building one. The door panels are 1969 original excellent panels. If you prefer the 1972 style door panels better, they are easy enough to change out. The seats were out of an older K5 Blazer from around 1990. They are in excellent shape. The console is a mint original GM Blazer console from the mid 70;s. The carpet is new, dash pad, steering wheel, all of that stuff as well.It has a nice retro style radio that fits in the original dash location. There is also a CD player that hangs under the dash below it. It has a USB ports on it to plug in your phone. There are kick panel speakers in place that mount in molded housings. No holes cut anywhere. It can all be taken back to stock in an hour or so if you prefer. The dash cluster is all restored and works great. The speedometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure, water temp, amps all work, turn signals all work, turn signal cancelers work, the original GM tilt column has been freshened up and works perfect. All wiring throughout is new. brake lights, headlights, windshield wipers all work. Heat, defrost, AC all work properly. Interior lights all work. The truck came with dual horns originally and are still in place. They work but sometimes when the left turn signal is on and your turning the corner, the horn sounds for a half second. Its annoying and I've not been able to correct the problem. So they are currently unhooked. The tires were new a few years ago, I have no idea how old the wheels are but they are in basically perfect shape. They were found at a garage sale.I know I'm leaving out a lot of things that were done and replaced but I think you get the idea. This is a turnkey nice straight clean truck that Always gets compliments evertime its out. It has 3.54 gears in the rear end so it goes down the highway 70 mph no problem. It'll go 100 if you want it too. its smooth, steers nice and tight, stops straight. The doors, tailgate and hood all open and close easily and solid like they should. There were a lot of good used and NOS parts used on this truck. As little Chinese garbage was used as possible. This truck is for sale to sell, it's priced very reasonably. If someone wants to buy it, shoot me a price and we"ll go from there. I've owned literally hundreds of the 1967-1972 GM trucks and can say this is a good one! The title is clear and ready to go. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. I'm happy to work with your shipper and can recommend a few good ones. Any questions feel free to ask. I can take as many pictures and send them to anyone as they'd like. Thanks
