Description
1968 GMC ½ ton shortbed fleetside. 6 cylinder 3 speed, 3.90 posi rear. Runs well, tracks straight and stops straight. Re-assembled with NOS Chevrolet grill, new cab corners & NOS rockers. Very solid truck with all the patina. Era correct bucket seat interior w/console. Bed-wood has been replaced and gas tank relocated. All new suspension/brake parts, Aluminum slotted wheels & BF Goodrich tires. Front dropped springs and shackles in the rear. GMC's of this era are leaf spring rear ends rather than trailing arms and coil springs. Cab has been off the frame and reassembled with new or very good quality used parts. Fun truck and gets lots of attention where ever it goes. Transmission growls and is noisy. Plan was to re-power w/BB and an AOD trans. Too many projects. Sold with a bill of sale, Maine is a non-title state for older vehicles, true mileage unknown.Please ask questions
