RARE 4 DOOR HT RED IN RED OUT A REALLY NICE CAR THAT DRIVES GREAT SHOWS WELL !!!

I have up for auction a Beautiful 1962 Chevy Impala and it's pretty rare SURVIVING being a 4 door hardtop (NO POST) because most were family cars and did not survive the kids wear and tear, and it is an original Red Red with only 79,120 original miles. It is powered by the rebuilt numbers matching 283 engine and power glide transmission . The engine purrs like a kitten and sounds great through the dual exhaust. This car has obviously been garaged its whole life and not out in bad weather because the body is exceptional and the under carriage is dry as a bone with no rust and even still has a lot of the factory primer on them. The car was purchased from a gentleman 79 years old and he owned it for the last 10 years until he lost his wife and he no longer had any interest in showing it. The paint job is really nice and slick and was told it is about 25 years old but it sure don't look it, it has been buffed to a mirror like finish and all of the stainless is in awesome shape not dinged up or faded bad like most you see. I replaced the rear bumper with a new one piece California Smooth bumper (No bolts showing) I replaced all 4 outer door handles and the side window rubber belt moldings due to age cracking. The weather stripes like the doors, roof rails and trunk, front and back glass are all original and in great shape so that's another reason you can tell it is a life long garaged kept car. The front bumper is original and upon close inspection has some very little pitting although I didn't feel it was bad enough to replace.
The interior is original other then I believe the carpet may have been replaced at some point because it just looks to good to be 57 years old. As you can see in the pictures the seats and everything including the head liner and paint on the dash are as good as you will ever find to be original. The motor was rebuilt with approx 20,000 miles now and at the time the heads were updated/replaced with the very popular World heads for more power and for todays unleaded fuel. This car has power steering power brakes and absolutely is an awesome driver and tight as it could have been when it was new!! Things I have done to it since I bought it, I lowered it 2 inches front and rear with drop springs from PPG. The Boyd Coddington's are brand new the front are 18x7 the rear are 20x9 the tires are new and it rides and preforms really great you can drive it anywhere at 70 MPH with ease! These cars don't come around like this very often so don't what until the end of the auction to bid because it may not last that long most cars I have listed oneBay never lastuntil theend!! Yes I know its not a two door but its not $35Kto $40,000 either and the 4 door hardtops have really got popular for the family cruise ins and shows. I love them and this gets tons of attention and complements and tubs up from all ages.
