1947 Chevrolet 5 window short bed classic hot rod street rod stepside pickup truck. Look closely at the body on this truck. The cab corners and rockers have been professionally replaced. It is very straight. It has the original great running 216 cubic inch 6 cylinder and granny gear 4 speed manual transmission. It does have a late model 10 bolt rear end that has highway gears for better driveability. It can be driven on the interstate with these gears. It has all new wiring and has been changed to 12 volts with a gm alternator. This truck can be driven every day. All the gauges work plus the wipers, horn, and all the lights including the turn signals. The front hubs have been changed to 5 lug Chevrolet car pattern to match the 10 bolt rear end. The truck has beautiful wood in the bed, but a used rail kit was installed that should be replaced. Since the rockers and cab corners have been replaced, the truck is rust free with the exception of some surface rust on the frame that should be treated. I have a clean South Carolina title in my name. It does however show the truck as a 1 ton. I asked the DMV to change it to 1/2 ton when I transferred it but they would not because the previous kentucky title also said it is a 1 ton. However as you can see in the pictures the title does match the vin plate in the door, so I do not see it as an issue. Nothing more than a typo. You will have a hard time finding another fat fender truck in this condition for the reserve that I have set. For questions call 864-934-5034.
