1971 Chevelle SS tribute, this car has a long list of new parts, modification, and customized upgrades. Very fun to cruise in, dependable, and it won't be last on race day. I will start with the interior which was restored by a well known shop, and is immaculate, no tears, stains, or blemishes, with a modified B&M Z-gate shifter and drink holder, pioneer blue tooth usb stereo. Professionally built 468 cu.in. motor, turbo 400 transmission, and 12 bolt 3.08 differential, I also have a set of 4.11 gears for this car, custom driveshaft, very solid drive train, and solid body throughout with por15 coating on floors and trunk. All new cpp front end, and short radius steering box, with complete new disc front and rear drum brakes and lines and hardware. New fuel tank and sending unit, 15x8 & 15x10 centerline wheels with new front and rear bumpers, and custom fit bullet style side mirrors. Arp bolts and rocker studs, melling oil pump and moroso 6qt pan, cloyes double roller timing set, lunati voodoo cam springs and lifters,comp cam push rods, roller tip rockers. Heads are GM 781 castings, polished, ported, 2.19 intake, 188 exhaust manley valves, summit stage 3 polished intake manifold that is port matched to the heads, finished off with a holley 770 cfm street avenger carb, proform HEI distributor, chrome water pump and chrome alternator, mini starter, headers, petronics adjustable rev limiter, flowmaster mufflers, custom electric cut outs. Motor is cooled by fan and dual temp adjustable electric fans, aluminum champion radiator, 180 degree thermostat, stays constant even on the hottest days.Transmission has a B&M shift kit, kevlar bands, red eagle clutches, custom balanced drive shaft with new yokes, braided stainless lines.Differential is a GM 12 bolt, posi track 3.08 gears, with all new bushings, adjustable smitty traction bars, and gabriel air shocks keep it smooth with no wheel hop.This chevelle has much of the SS equipment, and was originally the copper color, it looks runs and drives excellent, and driven weekly, it is used and not perfect, has a small nickel size dent in the passenger door, wipers and horn do not work sometimes, factory AC has been removed, odometer reads 62,300 miles, not sure if that is correct, I have tried to describe this chevelle to the best of my ability, I have owned this car for 12 years, it has been garage kept and not driven in the rain since I have had it.
