1951 Chevy 3800 1 ton panel truck original unrestored rare factory orange

Great original project to restore or rat rod. Very rare factory orange commercial series only color. The color was not available to the public and was a commercial fleet color. Most of these were green or blue. Totally original panel that was used in the 1970's as a camper. A 1920's coil spring mattress was altered to fit around the left wheel well and is included in this sale. Just put NOS turn signal lenses on and put 1980's 8 lug rims that do not need tubes. The original hub caps will mount on these rims when the clips are taken off the old rims and added to the new ones. Neat panel in a unusual factory color that no one else will have. Doors open and close well, body has the usual lower rust but is not bad. Floor has original wood, strips and no holes. Door jams and under doors are clean without holes. Way cleaner than most this age.
