1956 Chevrolet Post 210 Del Ray

This car represents a very high quality build. The car was built 12 years ago with 9K miles on the car since finished. Owned for 3 years and purchased from the builder. The build was a complete body off with a stock look and high performance big block. Priced reasonably considering the cost to build a quality car like this. Shows very nice and flat out gets with it. Plenty of torque and HP to have fun with.

Body/Paint: No rust with the car rebuilt body off frame. Good sheet metal and flat. The paint color is original to the car. Base clear Crocus yellow and Onex black. Wet sanded and buffed. Shows really nice.

Interior: Done stock with high grade interior. Nicely done. Under dash gauges temp and oil pressure. After market radio/CD player under dash. Column shifter altered to reflect 700R4 shifting pattern. Tachometer. Correct material, head liner and Daytona carpet. Really nice stock interior.

Running Gear: 1969 396 bored 30 over with hardened internals, forged crank and rods with pop up pistons. 10.5 to 1 compression. MSD box and distributor, Crowler full roller high lift solid lifter cam and roller rockers, Holley 780 dual feed carb and Wiend aluminum intake manifold, approx 400 HP. Aluminum radiator with 14 inch electric puller fan. 700R4 rebuilt with shift kit, 2600-2800 programmable torque converter. Stock rear end housing with 355 gears, posi. Perfect set up for performance and gas mileage on the road. Gets 20 MPG.

Suspension: The frame is what is referred to as a NASCAR frame, which relates to a seamless frame adding rigidity to the body particularly if you have a higher horse engine. The frame and suspension is totally restored. Ride really nice. Rear end has 3 inch blocks with the front having 2 inch drop spindles.

Bright work: All bright works is replated or a few items original that are in excellent condition. All show very nice.

Glass: New tinted glass all the way around.

Exhaust: Custom exhaust with turbo style mufflers and resonators.

Brakes: Power disc front and drum rear. Drums were just gone through with new shoes. Work excellent.

Wheels/Tires: New ralley wheels, caps and rings. 7 inch front and 8 inch rear with BFGs. 235/60 15 front and 255/60 15 rear. Lots of rubber.

Summary: Turnkey finished, needs nothing and ready to be enjoyed by a new proud owner. Fly in and enjoy the drive home. Great driving road and show car.
