A full restoration to include the powertrain was believed to be completed by the previous owner. Features of the... truck include power front disc brakes, power steering and more. So, if you're in the market for an absolutely stunning truck that is ready to roll, this 3100 is the ride for you. Please call or email us for more information. The 1955 Second Series or Stepside Series was the first year for a new body style. Changes included a new "wrap-around" windshield, which was a truck industry first, and an optional wrap-around rear window on Deluxe cabs. Additionally, power steering and power brakes became available for the first time on GM trucks. Beds options ranged from a 6.5 ft bed to a 7.5 ft bed. Also in this model the fenders have single headlights and a one-piece emblem is mounted below the horizontal line on the fender.
