You are bidding on a 1965 Chevy Corvair Monza 110 Convertible that was restored 25 years ago then parked in a garage. I have just gone thru the car mechanically over the past 6 months. It is a very rare beautiful one year only color Evening Orchard which is in the Silver family it has stunning curb appeal see pix. It has a new interior, new power top that operates smoothly, no leaks a nice honest really solid very original driver quality car. It runs strong gets tons of looks and attention a really cool car to drive and own. If you have been searching for a 1965 Corvair Convertible to enjoy here are more details.
The Details;
The restoration was completed 25 years ago then it was literally parked in a garage and not driven. The paint was redone in its correct factory color Super rare Elegant Evening Orchard. Given a driver quality repaint it has some light checking visible looking at it up close but overall shows well looks good as a driver but if you want show paint give it a fresh respray. Good news is the body is arrow straight solid no rust it really would be an easy respray. Floor pan solid has no rust. New Power black convertible top installed it looks great. It has chrome SS Hub wire wheel caps with spinners that really give it a retro 60's look. Chrome is real nice. The glass is good. The interior is new including new front and rear seat covers door panels, carpet. Under the hood is the super clean strong running flat-six engine. The trunk is rock solid with the full radial correct spare intact.
The Mechanics;
The list of more new parts; New Gas tank and sending unit, fuel pump, rebuilt carb, brand new radial tires, new battery, control arm bushings, rear axles, half shafts, shocks, recent tune-up with new cap rotor points & plugs, orig air cleaners are included, new brakes and drums wheel cylinders rebuilt, prior owner had a valve job done, new rubber seals and lots more. The car has been sorted out it runs good.
