Manual 4-speed Transmission

Engine starts immediately, runs and shifts well

Odometer reads 60,240 miles

Convertible top in great shape, rear window is flexible and transparent/not opaque. Floorpan in great condition, minimal rust underneath (surface only if that -- very little). Car was never drivien in winter/rain and been parked for 15 years. Fuel flushed, new battery, starts quickly and runs great. Interior is in extremely good condition.

Known Issues:

Idles low, needs adjustment (dies out when letting out clutch, would adjust points probably too)

Non-working damper doors

Rubber around engine fallen

Driver side mirror taped on

Not original engine

Paint chip on chine passenger door

Paint crack on very front of hood

Missing emblem on passenger side

The car was purchased from Florida by my father who has since passed. Having worked on Corvairs at GM, he has always had an affinity for them and started collecting several Corvairs, message for some more details if you are interested they have not all been posted on ebay yet.
