*Chevy Apache* 1959 with - 1978 "Cadillac power"

1959 Chevy Apache3100 pickup This is a very unique truck as the complete chassis and drive train is from a 1978 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. The cab and bed have been creatively placed on the entire Cadillac platform. The engine, transmission and rear end is described by previous owner as an original 1978 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with a 425 CU V8. It has the Cadillac tilt and telescoping steeringcolumn along with P/S, P/front disk brakes, rear air shocks and electric bench seat with center armrest. The door glass has been converted to the full panel eliminatingthe vent glass.This is a running and driving truck that is actuallynice for driving and cruising. It is not been performancemodified in any way and from my perspectiveit appears to have a completely stock Cadillac drive train. It is currently registered and insured in Florida. I obtainedthis truck due to the relocation of the previousowner and I have some knowledge regarding the history of it. I was informed the truck chassis modifications and restoration were completed in 2006 and soon there after the truck was purchased by the previous owner. Unfortunately, after a few years of being garage kept and well cared for the truck was relegatedto and outdoor storage and was not driven for a coupleof yearsenduring the Florida climate. As the photos indicate it has rust in some areas. Although for the most part the biggest ares of concern I believe is the leading edge of the top above the windshield and both of the lowerdoors. The remaining other areas of the truck appear to be pretty solid for a 60 year old vehicle. I have tried to show most all the affected areas on the truck that havea rust condition. As stated the truck was in storage for a few years without operation and I havedriven it locally without any problems. I feellike it would need some minor TLC prior to highway use due to it sittingfor an extended period. Everything works on this truck except the dash gauges. Previous owner had installed new vintage style gauges and advised they worked when the truck was placed in storage. I currently haven'thad the opportunity to determine why they are inoperable, it could be something as simpleas a ground.
