This truck is mechanically restored to run and drive great! The six cylinder is not original but it's the big 265 out of a school bus... the oil looks like Wesson. It starts runs drives and stops very nicely. It has four speed manual transmission with Granny gear and a working tow hitch and wiring to pull your boat. It has a 323 rear end from a 75 Pontiac trans am so you can drive it on the freeway without too many RPMs. But none of that subframe stuff..... still running the straight axle and original one ton frame. It drives and tracks straight even with these old tires. The front brakes converted to disc...all lines are fresh... As well as the fuel tank and system all new. The frame and chassis are all nicely and freshly painted. As is the engine and the rest of the drivetrain... It has an alternator and 12 volt upgrade .. but still uses the push button floor starter...so you end up with a really nice driver with some great upgrades but still has real old truck look and feel...This is an original patina, real farm truck. Nothing against the Faux Tina crowd... Just completely don't understand that. This is ready for someone to take it to the next level and make it their own... I was thinking vintage air and a few more comfort perks but I need to make room for other projects please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions including detailed pictures of any areas you need to see etc.. thanks so much for looking happy motoring!
