Description
1978 Chevy 4x4 Short bed pickup. THis is a highly optioned truck with power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, air conditioning. This is a very original truck with nearly every component still on the truck to include engine acessories and all four hub caps! New windshield and all new braking system and hub ($1100 worth) at Plaza Tire. Larger tires than stock, but the look good and are somewhat aggressive for overroad if you are into that.This truck is licensed and insured and I drive it very often. The shorty runs, drives, and stops excellent. THis is a great restoration candidate or drive it as is.Included in the auction is rocker panels, and some other repair panels for the rusted areas. I also have body mount bushings because I notice that the cab sags and the trim does not line up perfectly. You may decide to replace the mounts too, but I did not order those.
Overall I like the truck and drive it often. Id like to see it go to a good home. Mileage is showing 68, 113 but the speedometer cable was unhooked when I was working under the dash. I estimate that I might have driven 300 miles but probably much less.
I would consider offers but I'm going to try to put a realistic price on it for a buy it now.
