1985 Chevrolet El Camino Coupe/ pick up. Originally built to compete with the Ford Ranchero pick up. This car has a 4.3L v6 305 ci engine. 3 speed automatic transmission. Nice lightweight frame along with the rear wheel drive gives this car plenty of torque. This design made this an everyday vehicle with the ability to use as a pick up. When the wives wanted a car and the husband wanted a pick up truck the idea of a coupe / utility was born.This particular vehicle was owned by an 80 year old man who loved his Camino and kept it garaged for 25 years. The only time is was let out was when it was taken to car shoes or charity events. The old man shared so may wonderful stories about his love for this vehicle and the condition shows his love. He moved into a condo and was parting with his old toys and that's how I acquired this beauty. The car fires right up and purred the whole drive and I must admit, it felt like I went back in time 30 years.
All the mechanics work perfectly. The suspension is perfect and runs smooth. The transmission was just rebuilt and is still under warranty with receipts on hand. The air conditioner blows cold. The radio works great and the gauges all work on the dash expect the oil pressure gauge. There's an addition like pressure / oil temp / and voltage gauge attached by the radio and the gauges are in perfect operating order. The paint was professionally done and there is not a single scratch on the vehicle exterior. This is a rust free vehicle. I was told over $4000 was spent on the paint alone. It was estimated to have over 20 thousand Dollars in this car In maintenanc, repairs and cosmetics. Now you can own it for a lot less.
