Project Vehicle, notdrivable at this time. It will need to be towed or trailered.
I purchased this truck with the intention of restoring it. I just purchased a new house and I won't be able to keep the truck. With a little work and a few parts the truck can be a daily driver.
The previous owner said the truck was running and drivable when he purchased it. Then it was sent to shop to start the body work and mechanical changes are as follows: The power steering modification which also included hooking up the transmission linkage that never got completed. The current running motor is a 327, with a 700R4 transmission.
Now I will tell what I know & have done to the truck.
New column with shifter: 250.00 Summit RacingThe new ragjointer the steering box: 50.00Summit RacingNew vehicle wiring harness: 560.00Transmission linkage 65.00Power steering lines
Thanks for viewing my auction. If you have questions pleasedon'thesitate to contact me email and I willrespond ASAP. If you like to talk on the phone I can be reached at 706-972-4044

- The truck does run, but not drivable because the steering column installed and changed to column shift to accommodate shift linkage for the 700R4.
- You can start the truck using the hot wire on the back of the starter switch. Theheadlights are the only lightsthat work at this time, due to the steering column not being installed.
- The pervious owner cut the harness on the steering column instead of unplugging it go figure. I was going to install a new harness.
- Additionally Idon't know themechanical status of the transmission since Ihaven't been able to drive the truck.
- The new steering box has been changed to power (1986 C 10).
- The Brakes are still drums, but the master cylinder and brake booster has been upgraded. Good brake pedal.
- All the glass is in good shape, with a new windshield installed.
- The body work done to the truck was done poorly, and the rocker panels were replaced but done poorly. There is rust in all the usual places for these trucks, and a fair amount of bond in must of the panels. Again this a 55 year old truck that has different owners that made several modifications over the years.
- The truck has a high torque mini starter added.
- New 3 core Aluminum radiator.
- The fuel tank has been taken out and flushed, and fuel is flowing great using the original tank.
- New fuel pump
- It has four new tires on old school slot mags 15 inch
- I have a new stainless steel metal kit for the wood bed
- The original steering column with steering wheel is included
- The bumpers are included / they are used and barely driver quality in my opinion.
- New ignition switch with keys included
- New door lock with keys included
- New Power steering pump and brackets
New column with shifter: 250.00 Summit RacingThe new ragjointer the steering box: 50.00Summit RacingNew vehicle wiring harness: 560.00Transmission linkage 65.00Power steering lines
