For sale here I have a solid non running 1951 Chevrolet deluxe Bel Air 2 door hardtop that was last tagged in 1998. The engine turns over by hand and the car has a clear Ks title that matches the engine. The car is a factory powerglide car and was parked when reverse went out of the original transmission. The previous owner put in another powerglide transmission but didn't finish hooking the torque tube back up. It is currently strapped up under the car. The car has some desirable accessory parts like the gazelle hood ornament and 3 full 15" accessory hubcaps. One cap was on the DS rear when the pictures were taken. The car also has a pair of factory fender skirts. The car has a full set of factory wheels. The vent and quarter glasses are bad and should be replaced. The rest of the glass is good. The car is missing the stainless trim for the drivers door but is very complete otherwise. I have keys for the ignition and trunk. This car is quite solid and needs very minimal rust repair above the rear wheels and in the rear inner fenders to the inner rockers. The floors and trunk are solid and need no metal work done. The stainless trim on the car is nice and will polish up nicely. The chrome parts on the car need to be replated and the center bar of the grille is bent. The doors, hood and trunk all open and close like the and should and the windows roll up and down properly. The almost 200 photos in the shutterfly album should tell you the story on the car. If you have any questions feel free to ask unless you're asking me to sell parts off of the car because I won't do that. The car is being offered with no reserve to all good buyers. If you need help with transport in the 48 states I can get you a reasonable quote through a broker that I use. There's a $500 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours through PayPal with the balance due within 7 days by wire transfer. Payment for shipping is the buyers responsibility but I can help set it up. Thanks for looking.
