Vintage Motorcars is excited to offer this Beautiful 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This beautiful C-3 Corvette Convertible is presented in the Original, As-Built, Red-on-Red color combination. Repainted in its original Mille Miglia Red by a Corvette expert. This repaint is nothing short of Stunning. There are dozens of photos showing the process. Then this Corvette had a factory LT-1 hood added as visual enhancement.
This Corvette still retains its numbers matching, 200hp 350 engine. While all manufactures switched from a gross to net horsepower rating in 1972, this was the same engine as the 1971 270hp 350. This Corvette also features the 4 speed manual transmission which dropped to less than 50% total production by 1972
Our 1972 C-3 Corvette appears to have an all original interior with the exception of the carpet being replaced with new carpeting. Excluding the clock, all gauges work as they should including the tachometer. An aftermarket CD Stereo has been installed with a new corresponding dash bezel. If you would like to convert the car back to the original am/fm radio it will be included and is working. In addition this car features the must-have tilt/telescopic steering column
Don't miss your chance to own this 1972 Corvette Convertible with only 1 in 10 of the 6500 Convertibles painted red, and red being the least ordered of the 3 original interior color combinations, combined with the lower production 4-speed, this gorgeous example is probably one of less than a couple hundred red-on-red 4-speed 1972 Convertibles ever built!
