1962 GMC/Chevy short box 2wd

1962 GMC short box fleetside 2WD with Chevrolet grill and tailgate. Truck sits on later model frame with front coils and leaf spring rear. 5x5 hubs all around with power disc brakes on front.

Drive train and suspension includes: SBC 400 with new starter, new block hugger headers, new 2.5" dual exhaust with Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers, aluminum manifold with rebuilt Edelbrock carb, aluminum radiator, electric fan, fuel pump, TH350 with street/strip shift kit and B&M Pro-Shifter, all new brakes, brake lines, master cylinder/booster. New Eaton posi and 3.73 gears and bearings. Rear axle flipped and 2" drop spindles. New lower ball joints and pitman arm. Wheels are new 17x9 American Racing with 265x60 rear and 245x65 front tires.

Body includes: new fenders, LH cab corner, drivers side floor, all cab supports, polyurethane cab and radiator mounts, new box wood and stainless trim, rear roll pan, new frame mounted gas tank and sending unit, new trans crossmember. Painted in Hot Rod Flatz Sterling Silver for a matte/satin look and feel. Paint and body work are not show quality and minor rust is still present in non-visible places.

Interior includes: new paint, new door glass and windshield, all new weather stripping, sound deadener, carpet, complete wiring harness, new tilt steering column and wheel, new stainless steel dash panel, gauges, switches, mirrors, new JVC stereo and 6x9 speakers in boxes behind the seat. Seat is from F150 with new saddle blanket cover. New visors, kick panels, glove box, door sill plates, heater core and hoses.

Most of the rebuild work has been done subsequent to October 2018. Truck has about 300 miles on it since completion. Runs and drives well. Please contact me with any questions.
