1950 Chevrolet Pick up

Very cool 1950 Chevrolet Pickup shortbed. This is a three window pickup that has great patina. The engine turns over freely with a battery. I have not had it running. The bed of the truck is in great shape! All panels on the bed are very solid with only surface rust and no heavy rust at all. the front of the truck (hood. fenders) is somewhat the same as the bed. but it looks to have a little bondo here and there. The grill is in pretty good shape and not all beat up. The cab is the bad part. let's start with the good. The rockers are good. the top does not have any holes in it. All the glass is there and not cracked. although there is some bubbling on the edges of the glass. but very usable. I found a good seat and frame for it and the seat has no rips in it. The dash is uncut as far as I can see and is complete. The push button starter works after a few times of pushing it. The bad. the floors are pretty shot. but you could still drive it without your feet hitting the ground. The passengers side sidewall kick panel needs some work (rust). Both lower cab quarters needs replaced. not really rotted out. but needs replaced. Both doors have some rust at the bottom. The rest of the doors are decent. The section between the front fender and door has some rust at the very bottom. The firewall is in good shape. The engine is complete as far as I can tell. The back bumper has one broken bumper bracket and the front bumper will need replaced. I think with some hard work and a few weekends. it could be on the road. This is still a project. please understand that. If you purchase this truck. please understand that it does not currently have brakes. The brakes will need gone through. When looking for shipping. this information will need to be passed onto the shipping company that you schedule to pick it up. All shipping will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. It's very sold with no issues. I also noticed two small cracks in the passengers side door window. They are on the lower right side (or forward) section of the window. The pickup does need rust repair on the cab and the floors. I showed some pictures of those areas. Please look at the pictures closely prior to bidding. Also. The engine does turn over smoothly. but I have NOT got it running yet. I do not know anything about the transmission. This is a 65 year old pickup and therefor has had work done to it in the past. There are spots of repair all over the pickup. It's been painted several times from what I can tell. Again. PLEASE ask all questions before bidding. It's a very cool truck.
