1965 Corsa 140 convertible in rare factory evening orchid paint color with white and black interior. Odometer shows 22. 48 miles but let's assume it has turned over so 122. 48. A barn find car from Northern California that sat for 25 years. Unfortunately the front 1/3 of the car sat outside of the barn and exposed to the elements. There is isolated rust in the following areas and mostly due to accumulation of rain water:Lower portion of windshieldLower sections of doorsLower rear quarter panel under battery tray. All areas are very repairable. and there is no rust in floors or rockers visible to me or that I am aware of. Options: manual top. no AC. AM only radio. bumper guards front and rear. trailer hitch (could be factory but not sure). possibly has 4-way flasher or emergency brake warning light (no sure). Upon acquiring the car about 8 years ago. I immediately moved it to a secure storage garage where it has sat. At that time. the tires only held enough air for the car to be moved around. Figure it needs new tires now. EnginesOriginal 140HP engine. transmission and differential are out of the car (how I acquired it) but included in this sale. I have never taken the time to look into the mechanics or why the former owner removed the drivetrain. Assume it needs a total rebuild. Also included in this sale are 2 spare 140HP engines. I have not dated them so unsure if they are 1965 or later. Also included in this sale are several boxes of parts. engine sheetmetal. flywheels. pressure plates. possibly another engine (1964? 110HP) if the seller is interested. and at least 2 pairs of core 140HP heads. Whatever other Corvair parts I have that came with the car will go with the car. Seller should assume all parts are cores in need of rebuild.
