Up for sale is a 1966 Corvette convertible numbers matching 327/4 speed, finished in factory milano maroon, restored to excellent condition with no expense spared. This car underwent a full, frame off restoration about 10 years ago and has been driven very little since then, keeping it in remarkable shape. The body is in superb shape, all original panels that fit very well, gaps are very tight and the car is laser straight, the paint is in overall beautiful shape but is starting to show its age with minor blemishes (pictured). All weatherstripping on the car is new, as well as the chrome trim, it has also had a new top installed recently. During the restoration, the interior of the car was completely gone through and is in great condition, no tears or cracks anywhere, seats are reupholstered nicely and remain plush, dash is crack free and all gauges in the car are original and work! The floors have not been modified at all, and still retain their correct "raw" fiberglass finish. Factory radio remains and is in great working condition as well as the working quartz clock. The originalsteering wheel is present and in beautiful shape. All electronics on the car work, including the horn, taillights, and the headlights and headlight motors. The numbers matching 327 and 4 speed are unmodified and in good working condition, exhaust manifolds were removed and ceramic coated, as well as a new brake master cylinder and new mechanical fuel pump. The underneath of the car is very solid for the age, and zero rust is found on a very straight frame. The original carburetor is rebuilt and included with the sale. The car shifts and drives fine, with no noises or rattles, and accelerates and idles smoothly. Overall, this is an excellent example of a classic Corvette that has stood the test of time and remained extremely original and in great shape, a worthy investment and one that is sure to appreciate in the years to come!
