For sale is my 1965 Chevy C10 Fleetside long-bed pickup. He (Henry)was a Kansas farm truck until I bought him in 2016. He came by his patina honestly, but is solid underneath.Henryis a manual transmission (three on the tree) and he looks a little rough around the edges, but he's fun to drive, and he always gets a lot of attention. I'd love to keep him, but last November I started to display the symptoms of a rare brain condition that included losing the use of my legs, so I can't drive a vehicle, much less a manual transmission vehicle. My loss is your gain.
These are the changes I've made since 2016:• replaced the drive shaft• replaced the clutch• new tires• added cruze control• replaced the turn signal• had the carburetor rebuilt• replaced the battery• had the engine replaced with a rebuilt engine with less than 6000 miles (original engine had around 97,000 miles or so showing on the odometer)• replaced all the hoses• replaced the driver side rocker and parts of the floor
The alternator is in great shape, and the radiator is leak free. Things I was planning to fix were putting a new float in the gas tank, putting all new seals on the doors and windows, replace the passenger side rocker and replace the floor where necessary, and fix the hole in the roof where an antenna had been.
Please look at all the pictures - they are an important part of the description. Please ask any questions before you bid. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
