This 1963 Chevy Impala is in good running and driving condition with some issues of note. Thisvehicle is considered to be a driver quality vehicle and not a show car. Exterior The hood, doors,and trunk lid are all slightly misaligned. There are visible scratches on the hood and trunk lid. Thereare a few other minor misc scratches, most are too small to capture in photos. There is cracking inthe body filler at several points. The paint shows some orange peel and fish eyes in the finish aswell. There are some areas of paint bubbling possibly being from rust forming underneath aroundthe rear window trim. There is rust forming around the trunk latch and under the passenger side ofthe dash. The front signal lights are not working and the lenses are missing. The headlights haverust spots inside lenses. The left rear center light lens is missing. The side moldings are bent withdings in some areas. The body seals around the windows are showing signs of age and wear. Thisincludes the doors, windows, trunk, and other miscellaneous body seals. They will needreplacement. There is body filler evident in the right door and the rear quarter panels and lowerrocker panels. The chrome shows areas of minor pitting and age wear with some dings andwarping. Interior The sun visors are stained. The horn does not work. There is a small tear in theright side of the front seat. The seats show moderate wear overall otherwise. The driver side innerdoor panel is coming apart. There is no headliner installed. The blower motor works but the controlknob comes off. Mechanical There is a hydraulic height adjustable suspension system installed. Theengine had plenty of power and there were no misfires or excessive smoking. The transmissionshifted as designed with no harsh engagement or slipping. The steering was responsive and thesuspension was firm and the vehicle handled well. There were no abnormal vibrations or oddnoises. The brakes were firm with no pulsation felt. There were no leaks found to the underside ofthe vehicle. Overall a decent vehicle.
