This car had the complete restomod restorationdone about 3 yearsand 3,000 miles ago. All the bugs have been worked out, the car runs and drives 100%, and hasn't seen rain since.
BODY: The body started off as a complete, solid car. At some point, the 1/4's were replaced and were done right. The rest of the body is original and solid. This was never a rotted out car. The undersidewas heat treated with lizard skin and under coated.
PAINT: The body was completely stripped and coated with PPG epoxy primer, primed, blocked, and sealed. The base coatis PPG Victory Red, with 8 coats of PPG Clear. Then wet sanded and buffed.
MOTOR: The motor is a rebuild 406ci. SBC 9.5:1 compression with Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, full roller cam(480 lift, 262 duration), full roller rockers, Holley 750 carb, Ceramic coated headers, 2.5" flowmaster exhaust w/s.s. tips, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, electric fan, and shroud.
SUSPENSION: This car has a full TCI pro touring front clip with Mustang II front suspension, manual rack and pinion steering. The rear is leaf spring, with all new components. The whole car has polyurethane bushings threw out with a big front sway bar.
BRAKES: Are 4 wheel disc with drilled and slotted rotors. The calipers were painted to match the car.
TRANSMISSION: Is a rebuilt turbo 350 with a B&M shifter, 2200 B&M stallconverter, shift kit, and upgrades.
REAR AXLE: Is a GM 10 bolt with 3.55 gear ratio, great for cruising.
INTERIOR: Is all new, including seat covers, headliner, carpet, package tray, door panels, etc. The whole interior has been Dynomatted for sound deadening.
GLASS: The windshield is new and all the rest of the glass is in great shape.
BUMPERS/TRIM: The front and rear bumpers are new and the trim has all been polished and in great shape.
TIRES/WHEELS: Wheels are 16" American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. The tires are BFG sport comp radials(225/50 fronts & 245/50 rears)
STEREO SYSTEM: Alpine head unit, 2-Kicker 6x9's, 2-Kicker 5"rounds, Kicker Sub/bass box, and 2 Kicker amps.
NO A/C in this car, but all windows roll up and down nicely.
All lights and signals work properly.
The only real negative is the1 small spot on the front passenger side hood, at the bottom lip has sand threw from wet sanding that needs touch up.(Please see picture)
This is a great cruiser that is a lot of fun to drive and enjoy. You couldn't build it with all the parts and materials for the buy it now price, and it's done.
Thanks for looking.
