Car description

Hello there. I am selling this truck for my son, and the truck is in Snohomish, WA. If you have any questions about the truck, please contact myself or my son at 206-579-6201.
Up for auction is this resto-mod 1958 Chevy Apache step-side pickup truck. He has a lot of money into it, but our reserve is very fair. The foam board was put in the one pic to cover the license plate. Now... let's get down to specifics:
Engine - lightly built Chevy 383 stroker. My son bought the engine as a long-block, and it was built by a local engine builder located in Everett, WA. It is not a racing engine, but it has a great sound to it with a mild cam and runs flawlessly. All new headers, intake manifold, Holley carb, water pump, alternator, and a complete new exhaust system. The motor has approximately 1000 miles on it, so it is just about broken in. No leaks anywhere!!
Transmission - TH400. Shifts great and also has new driveshaft hooked up to it.
Chevy rear end with a Ford front. Disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. The disc breaks really bring it down to a stop! It unfortunately does NOT have power steering.
The body is in very nice shape, but there is one very light ding on the passenger front fender that you can notice when you look for it. It can probably be removed with the right equipment. We do not know if there is any bondo in the body, as my son bought the truck but then had to replace the motor. The lines on the body are very straight and no waviness when you look down the sides. The paint is not perfect, but we would probably grade it an 8 on a 10 scale. He was told it was originally a Texas truck, but we never confirmed that. He also had new wipers installed, and they do work. It also has a new wood bed installed out back.
The interior is extremely comfortable with what we think is light cream faux-leather and really contrasts against the black body. It really pops! New Auto Meter gauges, but the speedometer is a little off. All side windows are new glass. It has a Kenwood CD/bluetooth sound system with (4) speakers behind the seat.
Tires are Nittos mounter to Amercan Racing 18" wheels.
This is not a trailer queen, as my son does drive it occasionally. It gets tons of thumbs up wherever he goes. The only problem he has had with it since finishing everything is that the floor switch for the high beam headlights must have a short to it. They are brand new headlights, but they will occasionally flicker. THIS WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF PRIOR TO DOING ANY NIGHT DRIVING. Other than that one electrical glitch, it has performed exceptionally well since he went through everything. The new owner will not be disappointed.
Payment information:A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due within 48 hours of auction close. The remainder must be paid via bank-wire, cashier's check, or money order.
Again... if anyone has any questions or needs additional pictures, please reach out to me or to my son.
Thanks again... good luck and happy bidding!!
