I got this after a long search for a rust free Spyder... Well, I found one and now I have 2 Corvairs..Now I have storage issues....I paid way more than the initial asking price because it is in such wonderful condition....Rust free body....Looks to be one repaint...Interior is perfect..The car has a working air conditioner....Has the dual Master Cyl conversion....Has the generator replaced with an alternator...Newer tires...Spinner hubcaps....Runs great No smoke..Or funny noises..It did leak oil soI have replaced the axle seals..It has been sitting for 3 days and there is a penny sized drip under it...If you know how to drive a stick there is no problem with the car...I had my friend take it for a spin and found out if you try and shift very quickly into second it may chatter a bit...It has never chattered on me because it don't try to race anyone with it. If you drive it normally you will never hear anything..Just want to be upfront with everything that I know about it...It is silky smooth...Newer brakes...You can tell the previous owner ( deceased ) loved the car ..So do I but can't keep it..The pics tell the story...If you have less than 10 feedbacks do not bid...I used to say if you contacted me first I would let you, but, now even that quit working...I have had 0 success with low feedback people..Sorry, if you have to pay the price if you are legit..sI doubt very much there are any nicer Corvairs out there..I doubt there are many regular 62 Chevy's of any kind out there that are this nice...Nothing that I know of needs attention except the aftermarket radio has a mind of it's own.Don't know if mileage is correc, but it sure looks like it could be..Get in it and drive it
