1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 Serial Number 10 of 2,044 Made - All Original Paperwork - 375HP 6-Speed (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are not presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this rare... 1991 ZR-1 Corvette with a very cool story. Based on the last digits of the VIN number, this is the 10th ZR-1 produced and was shipped from the factory to Chevrolet's Central Office in Warren, MI to be a part of the Dieline Challenge Race Team, world cup winners. The car was actually never raced and ended up being sold/delivered to the J & R Company of Grand Rapids, MI on October 4, 1990 with just 10 miles on it with a price tag of $65,583.00 This history and figures are shown on a copy of the original title and the original window sticker. Speaking of documentation, this car comes with a folder full of original documentation, receipts, and records, including the original window sticker, which shows the ZR-1 Package as a $31,683 upgrade from the stock C4. This package included a 375hp 5.7L V8, staggered ZR-17 tires with aluminum wheels, heavy-duty brake system, electronic AC, specific side body panels, selective ride and handling package, leather adjustable sport seats, 6-way power seats, TPMS, solar glass, and a Delco/Bose Gold Series stereo system. The car was also ordered with every option possible, including both removable tops. $65k was a big price tag in 1991. But you got a lot of power for your money. In fact, the C4's were so dominant in the SCCA race circuit that they were eventually kicked out of the Stock GT class and forced to create their own series, known at the Corvette Challenge. The car also comes with the original build sheet, copies of the first titles, and all receipts of current ownership dating back to 2003. As said above, the car was never raced, was sold to J & R company who used it as a promo car, and then our client purchased the car in 2003, technically making him the second owner. Also in 2003, Impact Auto of Grand Rapids did a professional disassemble and repaint of the car with PPG basecoat/clearcoat in factory correct Corvette Bright Red. He has owned the car proudly for the last 16 years and he did enjoy driving it, hence the mileage. It remains in excellent condition and with a story like this, combined with the fact that only 2,044 were made, it offers new ownership a worthy investment. Hagerty values an Avg. No. 3 car at $16,900, making this vehicle a great value at the offered price. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors.
