1954 CHEVY PANEL TRUCK 3100 . PATINA-DRIVER

Up for sale is my 1954 Chevy 3100,1/2 ton Panel Truck. it is all stock and pretty much unmolested and has always been in good running condition. the body is in fair condition with some rust issues as seen in the pictures.(please look at pictures closely) it has lots of natural patina,the hood and top of the front fenders have some faux patina. it looks good in person with lots of character. the motor is the original matching numbers motor that was rebuilt around 40,000 miles ago, transmission is the 3 speed column shit and was also rebuilt with a new clutch assembly at the same time as the motor. the brakes are drum and the truck stops straight and easy. the front end steering is tight and goes straight down the road.it has the original 16 inch wheels and the tires are very good condition. all the gauges work,turn signals,brake lights,tail lights,instrument panel lights and dome light work.the heater also works. the windshield wipers are 6 volt with a new electric motor but the need final installation. i have all the parts for the wipers and instructions that will come with the truck.the front seat was installed when new and came from Wentworth commercial truck builders. the seat tilts forward and moves front to rear.there are couple small rust spots on the front floors but nothing bad. all the glass is in good condition except for the drivers door glass has a couple cracks. the truck is still 6 volt charging system with a new Optima red top battery. it always starts almost instantly hot or cold. the motor has very good oil pressure and seems to run on the cool side on water temp. the old truck seems to be very dependable, cruises down the road at 55mph with ease. transmission is quiet and shifts smooth.the truck is 65 years old and has some rust issues but it is what it is. unmolested 65 year old truck that is a total blast to cruise around and always gets a lot of attention at the local beaches on the weekend. it has a clear California title in my name and currently registered and insured for any further info. call 949-429-5382.
