Car description

I apologize for this being a c20 listed in the c10 category. EBay has no c20 category. So this is a 1972 Chevrolet C20 ¾ ton camper special. This truck was my husband's pride and joy, and he took very good care of it. But my husband has been gone since 2015. Sadly the only care the truck has received since then is to be winterized every year and started up and driven around the block once in awhile.

UPDATE: THE TIRE REPORTED FLAT BELOW HAS BEEN PUMPED UP AND IS HOLDING AIR FOR ALMOST A DAY SO FAR. Yesterday I noticed I can't even drive the truck around anymore because the rear tire on the driver's side has gone flat while sitting there, and I can't find that locking lug nut thingamajiggy so that the tire can be changed. Even worse, now the windshield, although probably still legal, has a big crack all the way across the bottom. Someone has taken the driver's side wiper blade. And because of my neglect, the paint job has lost its shine and is chipping. At least it started right up and still sounds great at an idle. This fine truck doesn't deserve to be unappreciated. I'm ready to let go. Please a starting bid of $2,000.

I'm no mechanic and make no promises nor do I know anything about the truck except:

  • that the truck ran great when it was parked four years ago

  • has been winterized

  • started right up and the engine idled yesterday

  • has a clean and clear title

  • pictures are included of imperfections and rust spots I found.

  • Sold "as is”

You should probably plan on towing this truck, or at least not driving it very far until you change the fluids, lube it, tune it, etc. I kind of remember someone saying that it didn't have the original engine in it anymore. Don't know what that means or if it's even true. I'm including this information cuz that's how I am. I'll be including a pic of engine if I can get it on here. Site keeps telling me that my memory is full.

I believe it has three gas tanks. It can have two batteries because it's set up for a camper. It has a high boy canopy on the back of it the kind that you don't have to lay down your motorcycle when you put it in the back. The canopy has wiring. I took a picture of the back window in the canopy which has always been wood and not glass as far back as I can remember. The canopy door does lock though and comes with its key. Any key will unlock the locking gas cap.

I have 100% positive feedback, and will almost always, within reason, do whatever it takes to keep it that way. You can bid with confidence.

Local pick up only, unless you're crazy good at finding shipping. In other words, moving it out of here is your problem after you buy it.
