Car description |
---|
This 1971 Chevrolet K10 factory 4WD and short bed (chassis KE141Z607714) has been frame off restored with new paint, interior, suspension and a GM LQ4 6.0L iron block (casting #12551364.) Impressively specced with a 4L80 overdrive transmission, front and rear limited slip differentials, and a nice, modest 2.5-inch lift over good looking Ultra 249 Predator II Truck Wheels wrapped in brand new Atturo Blade M/T 33x12.5s. The truck is rust-free with beautiful and tasteful driver cosmetics.
The truck underwent restoration in Idaho, included new paint and a nicely upgraded interior. The finish shows very nice. I have a lot more detailed pics available upon request. All trim and moldings were replaced during restoration, as were bumpers and the grille.
Upholstery, carpets, door cards, dash pad, headliner and more were all replaced at the time of restoration. New, one piece side windows replace the existing window/wing windows. A period-correct looking Retrosound Radio adds Bluetooth and hands-free functionality while the dash opening remains unaltered. Sound is piped to a tasteful speaker enclosure that lives where the factory gas tank once resided behind the seat. The gauges have been upgraded with a new set of Dakota Digitals. Fuel is safely carried between the frame rails now and is fed via a trick fuel neck hidden behind the left rear bedside marker light. All lights are functional. The spray-on bed liner is clean and uniformly applied.
The engine bay has been properly prepped to house an upgraded LS 6.0L from a 2003 Chevrolet truck. New, upgraded fuel rails and a tune were added to bring excellent performance to this classic.
LS power, power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes and 4WD are such a great combo. You cannot help but smile when you put your foot into this beauty. We strongly recommend you take this one for a test drive. These conversions can come in varying levels of quality, but this one sets the standard. If you can't make it this far to enjoy a drive yourself, please know we are so confident of this rig, we will happily deliver it to the local third-party of your choice for a pre-purchase inspection. I am available about anytime from 8 am-9 pm MST and able to show the truck with an appointment. I can be reached at 307-752-6033 to discuss any reasonable offer or trades. I have many pictures of the build and am happy to share them. Also, there's a fun video on YouTube if you want to check it out; search for the VIN number (KE141Z607714). Thanks again for looking and have a great day!
