1979 Chevrolet Silverado C-10 Stepside Short Bed Step Side Dual Tanks

This is a rare 1979 C-10 Silverado, original short bed step side. This has been my daily driver for the last 9 years. The truck is equipped with the following factory options:

I bought this truck to have a project to work on with my son but he never had an interest. It starts right up and runs great. The engine and interior are great but the truck is in serious need of a paint job. The paint job was one of those Maaco $299 specials that was done 9 years ago to protect the metal until I got around to getting a real paint job. That cheap paint job is flaking off and there are spots with the primer or the original paint showing through. The front fenders have rust at the bottom (see pictures).
This is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder takes it.

The truck is available for local pickup or I can assist with getting it to a shipper locally but the winning bidder is responsible for setting up and paying for shipping directly with the shipper of their choice. I am also willing to pick you up from the Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta.
